Maybe. I’m not the cheapest option. I’m here for people who understand the difference between a cost and an investment and who want it handled properly. You’re not just paying for an hour in front of a camera. You’re paying for the thinking before the shoot, the direction during it, the refinement after it, and the years of experience that make it all work. This isn’t about getting “some photos.” It’s about creating images that support how you grow and scale your business. I care about the work being accessible to the people ready for it. Payment plans can be discussed, just mention it when you enquire.
YOU'RE PROBABLY WONDERING
I'm not photogenic, I've never liked photos of myself, and I'm very awkward.
Good. You're exactly the kind of client I work best with. Here's the thing: "not photogenic" isn't real. It just means nobody has ever properly directed you. You've been pointed at a camera, told to smile, and left to figure out the rest on your own. That's not a you problem. That's a photographer problem. My job is to tell you exactly what to do, where to put your hands, how to hold your body, where to look, what to think about. Pose by pose, expression by expression. You never have to guess. The awkwardness? It disappears about five minutes in once you realise you're not flailing around trying to "look natural." You're following clear direction. And it works. You don't need to feel photogenic or comfortable coming in. That's what I'm here for.
WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THE PHOTOS
Fair concern and honestly, it's why I don't wing it. Every shoot starts with a strategy call and questionnaire so I understand what you need, who you're speaking to, and where these images have to work. We build a mood board, plan your wardrobe, and map out a shot list. On the day, I shoot tethered, you see the photos live on my laptop screen as we go. I ask you to review them and tell me what you like and what you don't. If something isn't working, I adjust immediately. By the time we're done, you know exactly what you're getting. No surprises. No waiting weeks to find out. If a past shoot let you down, that's exactly the kind of client I work well with. You know what you don't want. Let's figure out what you do.
What's your photography style?
I don't have one. And that's intentional. A corporate lawyer building authority needs completely different imagery to a yoga instructor launching a wellness brand. A fashion campaign should feel nothing like an executive headshot. An actor's casting portfolio has entirely different requirements than a product launch. My clients are diverse. So the photography adapts, the lighting, the direction, the styling, the mood all shift based on what you're building and who you're speaking to. Look at my portfolio. No two clients look the same. Because they're not.
Can I pay in installments?
A 50% retainer secures your date with the balance due on shoot day. Alternative payment arrangements can be discussed, just mention it when you enquire.
