"Your visual identity should not be an afterthought. It should close the deal."

This is branding photography that works like advertising. Because it is.

The problem

Your photos are

telling a different story.

You have built something real. Your reputation is solid. Your results speak for themselves.

But your photos are making people hesitate instead of book. Scroll past instead of stop. Choose someone else instead of you.

The camera was never the problem.

The solution

Strategy first.

Camera second.

I came from advertising before I picked up a camera. That background changes everything.

I think in positioning, messaging, and outcomes before I think about lighting or location. Every shoot at Studio TingTing starts with a brand strategy call.

We identify who is looking at your images, what they need to feel, and what each image has to do. Then we build a shot list. Then we shoot.

Who it's for

Built for people who need their

You show up. I handle everything else.

FAQ

Everything you are wondering.

Answered directly.

What is business / personal branding photography?

Business and Personal branding photography is a planned session built around a strategic brief, not a pose sheet. The goal is imagery that communicates your expertise, positioning, and authority to the specific audience you are trying to reach. Every decision, location, outfit, and setup is made in service of that goal. It is not a portrait session. It is a campaign.

How is a branding shoot different from a regular headshot?

A headshot gives you one photo. A branding shoot gives you a visual library built around where your business needs to grow. Every image is planned for a specific placement: website, LinkedIn, press, social, pitch decks. A headshot is a deliverable. A branding shoot is a strategy. The difference shows in how much of the gallery you actually end up using.

Where in Sydney do we shoot?

I shoot on-location across the NSW. We choose settings that match your industry, whether that is your office, studio, airbnb, a local café, or an urban street scene.

How much does business / personal branding photography cost in Sydney?

At Studio TingTing, the Signature Session (2 hours, 15 retouched images) starts from $1,250. The Deep Dive (4 hours, 35 retouched images) starts from $2,500. Business branding for teams starts from $950. Both personal branding sessions include a brand strategy call, audit, mood board, shot list, and wardrobe guidance before the shoot day begins.

Do you provide video content for social media?

Yes. Short-form video clips or behind-the-scenes (BTS) content for Instagram Reels or LinkedIn can be added to any session. This is a powerful way to increase engagement and show the human side of your business.

How long until I receive my final images?

You will receive a selection gallery within 2 business days. Once you choose your favorites, your final professionally retouched images are delivered within 7–10 working days. If you have a tight deadline for a launch, rush options are available.

What does your research and audit process actually look like?

Before anything is planned, I audit your digital presence. Your website, LinkedIn, existing imagery, social profiles, and how you currently sit against others in your space. I am looking for the gap between how your business actually operates and how it currently reads online. That gap is what the shoot is built to close. Most clients are surprised by how much I already know about their brand before we have even spoken.

How do you make sure my shoot looks nothing like anyone else's?

Because it starts with your brief, not a template. Two founders in the same industry will get two completely different shot lists. Different audiences, different gaps, different places where the images need to work. One might need authority imagery for press and speaking. Another needs warmth for a coaching audience. The brief determines everything. No two are the same because no two businesses have the same problem to solve.

How do you identify what makes my brand different?

That is the first thing we work out together. In the brand strategy call, I ask questions most photographers never ask: who your ideal client is, what they believe before they find you, what shifts after they work with you, and why they choose you over someone else in your industry. I am listening for the thing that is genuinely yours- the positioning, the angle, the personality that no one else in your space has. That is what every image is built to communicate.

What usage rights are included with my branding session?

Branding sessions include a license for personal professional use. This covers your own website, social media profiles, email marketing, and third-party PR (like guest blog posts or podcast features). Full commercial usage rights for billboards, or large-scale product packaging are not included and are quoted separately under our Commercial & Editorial services.

Who is this for?

Founders building a personal brand, consultants who close clients on credibility, executives due for a refresh, and anyone whose current photos no longer match the reputation they have spent years building. Also for teams who need consistent imagery that reflects how they actually operate. If your last shoot was more than two years ago, or your visuals no longer match where your business is, this is for you.

How long does a session take and how many photos will I get?

The Signature Session runs 2 hours and delivers 15 professionally retouched images. The Deep Dive runs 4 hours and delivers 35 images across multiple looks and setups. Every image is selected for usefulness across your brand touchpoints, not volume for its own sake. Video clips, BTS content, and full unretouched galleries are available as add-ons.

I'm not comfortable in front of the camera. Will that be a problem?

It is the most common thing I hear. You are not expected to know how to pose, that is my job. Every setup, angle, and expression is directed. What you need to bring is clarity on your brand and your goals. The rest is handled. Most clients are surprised by how quickly the discomfort goes once the direction is clear and the brief is doing its job.

What should I wear to a personal branding photoshoot?

Start with something that showcases your personality, the version of you that your ideal client would recognise. From there, a few rules that apply to almost every shoot: avoid large logos, which date quickly and pull attention away from you. Avoid anything too trend-led for the same reason. Your images need to work for the next two to three years, not just this season. Structure photographs well. A tailored jacket, a clean line, a deliberate silhouette. These hold on camera in a way that soft or shapeless pieces rarely do. I provide wardrobe guidance for every session, so you are never left guessing. For clients who want to go further, I work with a professional stylist who can pull looks, advise on fit, and make sure every outfit is positioned as intentionally as the shot list itself. Either way, nothing about what you wear on the day is left to chance.

Do you work with a hair, makeup and styling team?

Yes. I work with a trusted network of hair and makeup artists, stylists, and behind-the-scenes content creators across Sydney. Whether you need one specialist or a full team on set, mention it when you enquire and I will coordinate everything. Arriving camera-ready means one less thing on your mind on the day.

Do I need a website or social media presence before I book?

No. Many clients book before their site is live, which is actually the ideal time. We build the images around where your brand is going, not just where it is now. Having the imagery ready before you launch means your website, LinkedIn, and social profiles are consistent from day one rather than assembled after the fact.
